Transportation Orientation Receives Large Turnout

The ITS Orientation received a record turnout of over 50 people for it's annual event. Those interested in learning more about Transportation Policy and Planning at UCLA, joined the informal gathering of transportation students and faculty on 8Wednesday, September 26 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM in Public Affairs Building, Room 2355. Those in attendance were able to: -Learn all about the new Transportation Policy and Planning area of concentration; -Learn how to make transportation a major or a minor part of one's studies here at UCLA; -Learn more about the Transportation Policy and Planning courses offered this year and next; -Learn about scholarship, internship, employment opportunities, and study abroad opportunities; -Learn about upcoming events, meetings, and symposia on transportation-related topics; -Meet some of the faculty in Transportation Policy and Planning; -Socialize with new and continuing Urban Planning and Public Policy students interested in transportation; and -Enjoy lunch with new colleagues.
