Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship

This announcement is for the EISENHOWER GRADUATE TRANSPORTATION FELLOWSHIPS which is one of six award categories of the DWIGHT DAVID EISENHOWER TRANSPORTATION FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM. The objectives of the overall Program are to attract the nation's brightest minds to the field of transportation, to enhance the careers of transportation professionals by encouraging them to seek advanced degrees, and to retain top talent in the transportation industry of the United States. The Program is intended to help upgrade the scope of knowledge of the entire transportation community in the United States and encompasses all modes of transportation. School Mourns Passing of Jim Ortner

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of lecturer and alumnus Jim Ortner (PhD, 1978), who died in a traffic accident on December 26th, 2003. Jim taught the traffic engineering class at UCLA and was a great friend and colleague among both students and faculty. He will be greatly missed. More >>
