School Mourns Passing of Jim Ortner

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of lecturer and alumnus Jim Ortner (PhD, 1978), who died in a traffic accident on December 26th, 2003. Jim taught the traffic engineering class at UCLA and was a great friend and colleague among both students and faculty. He will be greatly missed.
